Association of American State Geologists (AASG) and National Science Foundation (NSF) Internship for STATEMAP Structural Mapping Project. Assisted in creating a detailed geologic map quadrangle of the Franklin, West Virginia Quadrangle. Constructed cross sections, rock identification, descriptions, sample collections and recordings.

Worked on the Coal Bed Mapping Project (CBMP). Researched well logs to determine coal bed type and depth.

Worked with STRATAFACT data program, inputting and correlating well logs to determine depths of coal seams in West Virginia.
